A Non Profit With A Mission

We give underrepresented youth access to mentorship, professional networks, & internship opportunities in the finance industry - all for FREE.

We are on a mission to transform the face of finance. By 2030, we aim to train 10,000 diverse youth for high-paying finance jobs, equipping them with both the hard skills of finance and soft skills of corporate culture. Our goal is to empower under-represented youth to thrive in the financial industry.

The Problem With Finance Today

Lack of Diversity

Wall Street's top ranks remain less diverse than other industries. This lack of varied perspectives has been shown to negatively affect decision-making & innovation in finance.

Limited Access & Opportunity

Talented, underrepresented youths often lack essential resources, connections, & exposure to pursue careers in finance, limiting their opportunities for economic advancement.

Economic Disparities

Economic inequality persists, with high-paying finance jobs often inaccessible to those from marginalized communities, reinforcing societal & racial divides.

Cultural & Social Barriers

Persistent biases and cultural misunderstandings hinder entry for diverse talents into the finance sector, compounded by a shortage of mentors from similar backgrounds.

COMPREHENSIVE TRAINING PROGRAMS

Wall Street Bound offers various FREE programs like Wall Street Direct that prepare diverse youth for careers in finance with a curriculum that includes technical skills development, industry-specific knowledge, & certification preparation. These programs are designed to make participants job-ready for positions on Wall Street.

MENTORSHIP & NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES

Wall Street Bound connects underrepresented students with industry professionals who serve as mentors. These relationships provide practical advice, insights into the industry, & valuable networking opportunities that are often inaccessible to underrepresented communities.

CAREER PLACEMENT & SUPPORT

WSB doesn't just train; it also assists with job placement. By partnering with financial institutions & leveraging a network of alumni and professionals, WSB helps open doors for internships & full-time positions, directly addressing the employment gap in the finance sector.

CULTURAL & SOCIAL INTEGRATION

Wall Street Bound addresses cultural barriers through workshops and seminars that prepare students for the corporate culture of Wall Street. These sessions focus on soft skills like communication, professional etiquette, and emotional intelligence, which are crucial for long-term success.

ONGOING SUPPORT & DEVELOPMENT

Meet Our Founder

Troy Prince, CEO

A Bronx native, graduate of the Bronx High School of Science and NYU Stern School of Business (BS '92). Troy is a 20 year+ wall street veteran with extensive buy & Sell side trading experience at premier US & International firms and near 5 years as an angel investor in Vietnam.

  • Noting the persistent lack of diversity in the front offices of wall street and the abundance of hungry and available diverse talent, he has had the idea for Wall Street Bound for over 15 years.

    Troy has spent significant time abroad having lived and worked in 5 countries, speaks 4 languages and brings the full breadth of his experience home with him in his mission to connect typically overlooked diverse talent with the capital markets and investment opportunity.

Black, Latino & Asian students account for more than 90% of our enrollment (60% male, 40% female).

Our students are hungry for a better future & are willing to put in the work to gain the skills, experience & connections to make it in this industry.

    At Wall Street Bound, we're revolutionizing access to finance careers for underrepresented students at a critical juncture. Our program stands out for its innovative approach in equipping diverse talent with both technical prowess and essential soft skills needed to thrive on Wall Street.

    What makes us truly unique is our unwavering commitment to bridging the gap between systemic barriers and lucrative opportunities, ensuring that students from diverse backgrounds not only enter the finance industry but excel within it.

  • We serve individuals from underrepresented communities who face systemic barriers to accessing lucrative career opportunities on Wall Street.

    Our program is designed to provide comprehensive support to these students, equipping them with the necessary skills, knowledge, and mentorship to succeed in the finance industry.

    Approximately 1/3 of our students are African American, 1/3 are LatinX, and a little less than 1/3 are Asian. 

    Over 85% of our students report that their family's household income is $50,000 or less. 40% of our students identify as female.
